Hey! Because a script entry's location can change over time, the URL in the address bar of your browser should not be copied or bookmarked. To accurately bookmark or copy the URL of an entry, control-click or right-click on its title or permalink for this entry button and select an option from the pop-up.
Export Via QuickTime v1.2

Bring Out Yer Dead v1.1
This script applet will allow you to select a "dead" file track in iTunes (designated with the (!)) and attempt to locate a file using Spotlight that corresponds to the selected track's Song Name, Artist, and Album, and then allow you to replace the "dead track" with a file from the search results. All tag data is preserved from the original track selected and copied to the newly added track.
Note: I consider this script to be just an experiment using Spotlight technology. iTunes already has the ability to try to locate disassociated files when you double-click a "dead track". Use with caution, see the "Read Me".
If you use Kevin Wojniak's Spodlight to index your iPod, Bring Out Yer Dead can copy a file from iPod if found.

Files to Folder Scripts
This is a collection of two scripts: Alias Files to Folder... which creates an alias of each file of the selected iTunes tracks in a user-selected location, and Copy Files to Folder... which will copy the files of the selected iTunes tracks to a user-selected location.
These scripts are based on Move Files to Folder... by Plaidcow Solutions.

Convert and Export v1.1
This script converts the files of the selected tracks in iTunes using an encoder of your choice on-the-fly (restoring your Preferences-set encoder afterwards). The newly converted files are then moved to a new location of your choice, and their tracks removed from iTunes.

Copy From Start to Stop v1.1
Makes a copy of the selected track using its Start and Stop times as the beginning and ending of the new file and adds to Library, with option to name new track/file. Works best with CD tracks. If using with file tracks, NOTE: you may experience some degradation of audio quality if you re-encode a compressed file (one which has already been encoded), and thus the quality of your copy may be a matter of taste. Mileage will vary.
Works as a fine companion to the script Player Position to Start or Stop, which sets the Start or Stop time of the currently loaded track to the time of the paused player position.

NOT Part of a Compilation
Some Greatest Hits collections contain tracks which have been designated as part of a compilation, even though the Artist of each track is the same. (iTunes' "Compilation" is not exactly synonymous with "Collection".) If you maintain a "Compilations" folder, and have set iTunes to "Keep iTunes Music folder organized", these Album folders will appear there and not in their respective Artist folder. Changing each track's Compilation setting to "No" will un-designate them as part of a compilation and allow iTunes to move the Album folder to the appropriate Artist folder.
This script goes through your entire library looking for such tracks and changes their Compilations setting accordingly.

Drop A Few My Way
Drag and drop audio files to this droplet to have iTunes convert them with an encoder selected on the fly (AAC, MP3, AIFF, or WAV), restoring iTunes' Preferences-set encoder afterwards. Converted files are saved to your Desktop (by default) or other user-selected location. The original dropped files/tracks and converted files/tracks are removed from iTunes; it is as though iTunes "never saw them".
